We are excited to announce that we have added two amazing women to our team. Lindsey Fletcher has joined the team as our Director of Program Development. Robyn Bomar will take on the role of Program Outreach Coordinator.

They both share our passion for supporting the military community and we’re thrilled to have them! Here are their stories.

Lindsey, Director of Program Development

Lindsey joined the team in September of 2015. The military lifestyle isn’t a mystery for her—Lindsey’s husband, SGT Ryan Fletcher, served two tours in Iraq as a United States Marine. Ryan and Lindsey have a three-year-old daughter, Emma.

With nearly a decade of not-for-profit development under her belt, Lindsey is an amazing asset to our team. As Director of Program Development, Lindsey’s focus is to build strong relationships with donors and product vendors. Her experience and talent will help us continue our mission of bringing joy to military families.

Robyn, Program Outreach Coordinator

Robyn is also no stranger to life as a military family. Before moving to New York City, she and her husband Michael, though not military members themselves, lived in a military town for 16 years, where they raised their three daughters. After 9/11, Robyn had the honor  of running a playgroup for nearly 100 wives and children of deploying servicemen.

Robyn is also the founder of The Birthday Project, a global kindness initiative spanning 45 countries on 6 continents. The organization inspires people to use their birthdays as a catalyst for giving back to others and making the world a better place. Additionally, as owner of Mix Mingle Glow Weddings & Events for seven years, Robyn gained amazing event planning experience that she’s bringing to Operation Shower now.

Robyn’s passion for making people feel loved and appreciated is sure to go a long way here at Operation Shower, where she’ll work closely with moms and volunteers at our baby showers and other events.

Even with such an amazing team, volunteers are always appreciated! Learn more about opportunities to work with Operation Shower here.
