Operation Shower Welcomes New Team Members Operation Shower is just as thrilled to announce that Amy Belle Isle has agreed to join the Operation Shower team, as Chief Event Organizer. Amy Belle Isle is the founder of the wonderful Stem parties, a boutique event planning service in St. Louis, Missouri. Her love of party styling and entertaining is focused on helping people plan small parties for the big events in their lives. Amy's work has been featured on several well-read entertaining websites and she is excited to join her passion for making people feel like a VIP guest with her desire to help others. Amy and her husband, Paul Belle Isle, live (with Paul's fish) in University City, Missouri. |

| Fort Bragg Moms Celebrated Operation Shower Style Operation Shower gathered last Sat urday in Fort Bragg, North Carolina for a Mother’s Day celebration to complete the mission of showering 100 new moms and moms-to-be whose husbands are soldiers. Twenty moms and their soon-to-be redeployed husbands from the 96th Civil Affairs Battalion gathered for an afternoon of food, gifts, raffle prizes and fun. |
| Operation Shower Salutes You! We hope that Mother’s Day was a little more special this year for the 100 moms-to-be of deployed and soon-to-be redeployed soldiers who were showered with gifts in honor of the 100th anniversary of Mother’s Day. On Saturday, May 10th, Operation Shower, in partnership with Wal-Mart, its suppliers and 40 other companies, completed its mission of hosting unit wide showers in Twentynine Palms, California, in San Diego for the spouses of soldiers aboard the USS Nimitz, in Fort Bragg, North Carolina and at Scott Air Force Base. We are grateful for the kindness and generosity of all of the companies and individuals that made this possible. Operation Shower salutes you! |
| Operation Shower Mother’s Day Celebration Kicks Off Operation Shower’s Mother’s Day celebration is officially underway as 50 Marine Corps and Navy moms-to-be received thousands of dollars worth of gifts this weekend as a part of an effort to shower 100 expectant moms between now and Mother’s Day. On Friday, Fifty people gathered on a beautiful California afternoon overlooking the Desert Palms Golf Course to celebrate 20 very special moms to be at Twentynine Palms whose husbands are deployed overseas. The festivities continued the following day in San Diego where 30 moms-to-be whose husbands are aboard the USS Nimitz opened presents, won raffle items and talked babies. |

Operation Shower in Gulfport, Mississippi Operation Shower's first event in 2008 was in Gulfport, Mississippi. It was a wonderful event and an honor to be there. Each of the moms received a 'Shower in a Box' full of baby shower goodies donated from many supportive companies and individuals around the country. |
Operation Shower’s 2nd Unit-Wide Baby Shower: Ft. Hood Operation Shower ended 2007 with a fantastic and beautiful shower for almost 50 moms at Ft. Hood, Texas. On Saturday, December 8th, 2007, 45 Army spouses from the 1st Medical Brigade were showered with gifts at Fort Hood, Texas. It was a wonderful event and an honor to be there. Each of the moms received a box full of baby shower goodies donated from companies and individuals around the country. |
