A little background about yourself and/or your company.
We celebrate people! We are a family business that began as a husband and wife team and we have grown to provide full production, planning, and design services for anyone celebrating anything.
When did you first start working with/giving to Operation Shower?
About two years ago, we saw a post about Operation Shower on social media. We immediately reached out to get involved and were welcomed by great women as we explored how we could serve Operation Shower. Next thing you know, we were in San Diego for our first shower and it was so much more than we ever imagined. Here we are still looking for any and every way to get involved, even from afar.
Why did you chose Operation Shower as a way of giving back?
We felt it was a way to give back to our service personnel, who are often not acknowledged, that would greatly benefit from resources, friendships, and useful gifts. From managing the challenges of deployment to facing the possibility of moving at any time, these mommies and families don’t receive as many of the luxuries and support that many of us do.
What does giving back to military families through Operation Shower mean to you/your company?
It means we celebrate those who protect our families. There’s no way to ever thank them enough.
What has been one of your favorite memories of working with Operation Shower?
Holding babies and hearing their mothers talk to us about their birth stories. It reminds us how strong and resilient they are and motivates us to keep giving our all in any way to assist Operation Shower with their ability to provide these showers.
