There was plenty of love to go around in the desert as we honored 33 military moms-to-be Tuesday, January 28th at Waste Management Phoenix Open (WMPO) Presented by The Ak-Chin Indian Community.
The “Desert Love” themed baby shower, presented by PRO EM, was decked out in sunset hues and filled with colorful balloons and modern boho touches. “It’s our privilege to show appreciation to these amazing military moms-to-be during this special Operation Shower event,” said PRO EM Party & Events Rentals COO Brady Castro. “We truly admire the courage and strength of military moms experiencing pregnancy during deployment, and are delighted to help provide an opportunity for them to celebrate and share camaraderie with other expectant military moms.”
We love hosting showers every year at the WMPO and a big part of that is the supporters there have become like family. From our host, Andrea Robinson to delicious lunch by M Catering and additional support from Palo Verde Generating Station, 4moms, Playtex, Discover Financial Services, and Nicole Phelps, our Arizona moms definitely got our “as if your family or best friend was hosting your baby shower” treatment!
We know moms deserve something special for themselves and so does Kendra Scott. This year moms were able to select and create their own custom piece of jewelry at the Kendra Scott Color Bar. What a special keepsake that will be!
Parents were also given the opportunity to step into a mobile recording booth from United Through Reading to read a story to their baby on the way. This special touch will enable them to stay close, even if deployed far away.
The sun may have set on our Desert Love shower, but we know we’ll be back and can’t wait to create another joyful and memorable day with our amazing team of Arizona supporters!
