Our partners at Lendlease (US) Community Fund always bring the cheer and this holiday season 2020 was certainly no exception! On December 16th we held a “Merry & Bright” Virtual Baby Shower for 35 moms from Ft. Hood, Texas and celebrate the season and all of the new bundles of joy on the way!
Twas the day before the shower….and the party started with very special deliveries from the team at IHG Army Hotels. Party boxes full of party goods, individual bundt cakes and yard signs were taken to each mom’s home to help set the stage for the shower the next day.
When Shower Day came, we gathered together with our friends at Lendlease and IHG Army Hotels and our guests of honor – the moms-to-be! We showered them with their Showers in a Box, gifts from Carousel Designs, Noodle & Boo, Hazen & Co. and a Gift Bundle with gifts from Skip Hop, a monitor and a $50 Amazon Gift Card.
Supporter, Actress and Director, Melissa Joan Hart recorded a heartfelt video message to all of the moms to thank them for their service and sacrifice and wish them happy and healthy babies. It was the perfect addition to the Merry & Bright afternoon!
We had a very vibrant Zoom chat going at this shower and it was evident that the moms were feeling all of the love and support we all had for them.
Bringing Holiday Cheer during a difficult year is the best gift ever and we are so grateful to everyone who made this day possible.
