Showering 25 moms from all over Florida with our friends from the Honda Classic was like a Fairytale – Fairytale Fun that is.
Sponsored by Milan Homes, Operation Shower and Florida military moms-to-be joined up on a virtual Zoom call to talk about babies, golf and life in the military. Our friends with United Through Reading joined in to discuss the power of reading to your children and challenged all attendees to a little children’s book trivia competition. Safe to say that everyone learned a little something!
Inspiring speakers such as Mrs Barbara Nicklaus, games, raffles and the ability to share the day with families from every branch of the military, left our moms feeling the love that we so hoped to convey. Post shower comments like this one from a showered mom, proved that a VIRTUAL baby shower can feel exactly like a fairytale.
I enjoyed the time we spent together at the baby shower and getting to know each other. I just wanted to thank all of you for making me feel special and welcomed as a military mom. Thank you for all the gifts and fun. Hope to be part of this again in the future.
