The Islanders Children’s Foundation and Operation Shower had a real “barnburner” on Wednesday, July 6th when they hosted a group baby shower for 25 military families at the UBS Arena in Elmont, NY! Hosted by MSG broadcaster Shannon Hogan, area moms and soon to be moms were treated to a hockey themed shower which included a catered lunch, games, and prizes, They enjoyed one another’s company while being celebrated by Islanders’ volunteers and presenting sponsor Ryan Tax. And what’s an event with the Islanders without an appearance by the team mascot “Sparky” that made the younger guests day!
Special shout out to the donors, vendors and volunteers who helped make the day so special.
