Hello, World and Hello, Fun!
In collaboration with the PGA TOUR’s Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches and through the generosity of Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, Operation Shower hosted a baby shower for 23 military moms-to-be from area military bases on February 24th. The shower took place in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and was supported by Pratt and Whitney and Garden of Life.
The “Hello World”-themed group shower was full of joy, laughter and more than a few “Oprah” moments! From cake to cribs, playful games to play yards, delightful decor to diaper bags, connection to cute handmade gifts – there was something for everyone.
“We are excited to join with Operation Shower and the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches to provide these extraordinary moms and moms-to-be with an opportunity to celebrate this wonderful milestone together,” said Nicklaus Children’s Health System President and CEO Matthew Love. “Whether they are serving abroad or keeping everything running smoothly at home so their loved ones can proudly serve our country, we owe these amazing women a tremendous debt of gratitude.”
Along with Operation Shower’s signature Showers In A Box – each mom received gifts from companies including The Cotton Bottom Diaper Bank, Garden of Life, Frida, Diaper Genie, Delta Children and Romp & Roost.
