We had the sweetest day! On August 7th, we had the incredible privilege of welcoming 40 wonderful military moms and moms-to-be at our ‘Hi, Cutie Pie!‘ baby shower, made possible by our generous presenting sponsor H-E-B! The afternoon at the Marriott Courtyard in Killeen, Texas, was brimming with joy, laughter, and unforgettable connections as this extraordinary community united to celebrate new beginnings.
We were proud to give these courageous women, either active-duty themselves or the spouses and partners of deployed military personnel, a slice of joy with a special day designed just for them. From cheerful decor, including mini felt pies and tiny kitchen mixers, to a catered lunch, every detail was dedicated to making each mom feel seen, celebrated, and supported.
During the event, we whisked up some fun games for guests to play, including a jam session of “Name That Baby Tune.” Moms enjoyed sweet treats and crafts by decorating adorable baby aprons to welcome their little ones on the way! Raffle prizes were generously donated by amazing brands including Babiators, Dr. Brown’s, My Brest Friend, Owlet, and Sassy Toys.
Opening Operation Shower’s signature “Shower In A Box” was the perfect cherry on top, thanks to H-E-B, Baby K’Tan, Babyfi, BabbleRoo, Diaper Genie, and Angelcare! Each mom left with a bundle of high-quality gifts for both them and their little ones.
We want to extend extra thanks to H-E-B, who has made this event their third sponsored shower of the year! Their continued support has helped us cook up wonderful memories for military families, the secret ingredient to each celebration.
