Our March “Fairytale Forest” shower in San Diego was a huge success – we were able to shower 80 military moms and moms-to-be with beautiful gifts, delicious treats and a fun-filled day.
This was our ninth shower sponsored by Babies“R”Us and we couldn’t have been more thrilled to have their help in making the day so amazing for our military families. The Babies“R”Us volunteers helped us put smiles on the faces of our incredible moms by presenting them with wonderful gifts for them and their babies.
Another highlight of the day? Our guest host Holly Robinson Peete! The actress, author and mom shared her own appreciation for our military families, and had a blast mingling with our Operation Shower moms, volunteers and – of course – adorable babies!
Holly mingled with the moms and moms-to-be while they opened their boxes and received amazing gifts from Babies“R”Us, Safety 1st, 4moms, Munchkin and more. The venue, Casino San Clemente, was seriously gorgeous thanks to graphics and designs from Hostess with the Mostess, a fern wall from That Can Happen and awesome dessert table styling by Sweets Indeed. Maxine Evans Photography and Maria Healey Photography helped us capture it all. This shower really did feel like a fairytale!
It was such a wonderful day, and the best part of it all was seeing the smiles on the faces of so many military moms. We owe thanks as always to these women and their families for their service.
