Thanks to the generosity of the Jordan Spieth Family Foundation, Operation Shower hosted a group baby shower for 30 local military moms-to-be on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at Brookhaven Country Club in Farmers Branch, TX. NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth news anchor and reporter Meredith Land served as the event’s guest host and emcee.
The “Hello Baby”-themed event will feature a catered lunch, raffle prizes, and the highlight of the event, the distribution of Operation Shower’s signature “Showers In A Box”— gifts of high-quality products for mothers and babies that have been generously donated by the Jordan Spieth Family Foundation and the Spieth family personally, as well as companies including Delta Children, Joie Baby, Emulait, 3 Marthas and Under Armour.
“We are honored to partner with Operation Shower to express our appreciation to these courageous military moms-to-be for their service and sacrifice on behalf of our country,” said Annie Spieth30, wife of PGA TOUR Champion Jordan Spieth, who will be hosting the shower along with other Spieth family members. “Supporting military families is one of our four mission pillars, and we are delighted to share in the joy and show our gratitude to these very special families.”
Operation Shower was chosen as one of the 2024 Jordan Spieth Family Foundation community partners, and this event is the product of those grant dollars and the JSFF commitment coming to life.
