On October 8th, we had a neigh-mazing time celebrating 28 outstanding military moms and moms-to-be (30 babies, two sets of twins!) at our “Wildest Dreams” baby shower at Dyess Air Force Base in Abilene, TX! Presented by H-E-B Operation Appreciation, this event was a dream come true as we celebrated these incredible women, all active-duty service members or the spouses and partners of deployed military members from local bases, whose courage spurs us on.
Held at the Dyess AFB Hangar Center, the event was filled with unbridled joy from start to finish! Guests enjoyed a tasty catered lunch, exciting games, dazzling raffles, and the chance to make meaningful connections and lasting friendships.
Our hearts galloped watching each mom open Operation Shower’s signature “Shower In A Box”! These beautifully curated gift boxes were brimming with essentials and luxurious surprises for both mom and baby, thanks to generous donations from H-E-B, Diaper Genie, Angelcare, Dr. Brown’s, Babbleroo, Gap, Delta Children, and Chicco.
“We’re honored to partner with Operation Shower in celebrating these incredible military moms-to-be and thanking them for their service,” said Johnny Mojica, H-E-B Public Affairs Manager. “Whether they’re serving in uniform or providing strength and support on the homefront, their sacrifices do not go unnoticed. We’re grateful for the chance to lift them up and bring a little joy through this special baby shower.”
Thanks to H-E-B Operation Appreciation, this shower was packed with community, gratitude, and heartwarming memories that are sure to stick around and neigh-ver be forgotten!
