May 6, 2026 was one for the Operation Shower books! We had the special opportunity to celebrate 55 incredible military moms and moms-to-be at our 250th shower at our “A Mother’s Love”-themed event in San Antonio, TX! Held in the beautiful River Bend Pavilion at TPC San Antonio. Presented by H-E-B (with support from the San Antonio Spurs), this celebration marked our 20th shower in partnership with H-E-B. It was also our first time teaming up with the San Antonio Spurs, whose support helped make the day even more memorable as we gathered to commemorate the strength of these amazing women (all active-duty service members or the spouses or partners of deployed members of local bases) as they get ready to welcome their little ones home.
Our emcee, San Antonio Spurs in-game host Zay Zay Aquino, kept the afternoon warm, welcoming, and full of joy! Guests enjoyed a delicious catered lunch, fun games, exciting prizes, and plenty of laughs as the moms connected and formed heartfelt memories that are sure to last.
As always, each of our moms and moms-to-be was gifted one of our Shower-In-A-Boxes filled to the brim with high-quality gifts and essentials for both mom and baby, this time items were generously donated by H-E-B and other caring partners including Joie Baby, Angelcare, Diaper Genie, BabbleRoo, Delta Children, Natural Life, and the San Antonio Spurs.
We are deeply grateful to H-E-B, the San Antonio Spurs, and all of our generous partners for helping make this special day possible for these deserving moms and moms-to-be!
