On April 28, we were taken away by the 25 incredible military moms-to-be we met at our “Hearts Aflutter” group baby shower in Waxhaw, NC at The Club at Longview, presented by the PGA TOUR’s Truist Championship and supported by Western Governors University (WGU)! With our emcee and guest host Miranda Miller (influencer and so much more at Miranda in Charlotte) keeping our spirits soaring, we were fluttered by the opportunity to celebrate these wonderful women with a lovely catered lunch, fun games, and exciting giveaways.
The highlight, of course, was seeing the moms’ bright smiles take flight as they opened Operation Shower’s signature “Shower-In-A- Box!” These beautifully curated gift boxes were packed with high-quality products and sweeter than nectar surprises for both mom and baby, generously donated by the Truist Championship, Joie, Angelcare, Diaper Genie, BabbleRoo, Delta Children, Girl Tribe Co and the Diaper Bank of North Carolina.
Thanks to the compassion of the Truist Championship and WGU, this celebration was blooming with joy, community, and excitement for the little ones on the way!
