On April 13, we were honored to shell-ebrate 20 sand-tastic military moms-to-be at our “Sea of Love” group baby shower alongside our presenter, The Lowcountry Foundation for Wounded Military Heroes, in Hilton Head Island, SC! The event was hosted at the so-fish-ticated Sonesta Resort Hilton Head, with the support of Western Governors University (WGU) and the Heritage Classic Foundation.
With WJCL Anchor and Reporter Lydia Blackstone as emcee, the celebration was simply pier-fection! Guests enjoyed a delicious catered brunch, fun shower activities, and spectacular prizes and these courageous women shared a boat-load of laughs and new friend-ships that are shore to last!
Our favorite moment was seeing the moms unwrap Operation Shower’s signature Shower-In-A Box with gifts donated by companies and organizations including the Lowcountry Foundation for Wounded Military Heroes, Angelcare, Diaper Genie, Joie Baby, Delta Children, Nadia Hurtt Photography, Dr. Brown’s, Friday Baby and Vera Bradley.
Thanks to The Lowcountry Foundation for Wounded Military Heroes, WGU, and the Heritage Classic Foundation, we had the wonderful opportunity to show our appreciation for these amazing military moms-to-be and help send them off to the next ferry-tale adventure!
