A little sweetness goes a long way! On September 30, H-E-B’s Operation Appreciation program partnered with Operation Shower to celebrate 40 military moms-to-be at a special “Sweet Little One”-themed group baby shower at Dyess Air Force Base in Texas.
The celebration honored expectant moms who are active-duty service members or the spouses and partners of deployed service members from Dyess AFB and other area bases. Surrounded by thoughtful details, a delicious catered lunch, raffle prizes, and plenty of love, these moms enjoyed a special opportunity to connect with others who understand the joys and challenges of military family life.
The highlight of the day was the distribution of Operation Shower’s signature Shower-In-A-Box, a thoughtfully curated collection of high-quality products for moms and babies. Each mom received a box filled with generous donations from H-E-B, along with gifts from Diaper Genie, Angelcare, Dr. Brown’s, Fisher-Price, Delta Children, and Pierced Co..
As part of its company-wide Operation Appreciation program, H-E-B continues to find meaningful ways to recognize and support military service members and their families. Jessicka Gonzales, H-E-B Senior Manager of Public Affairs, shared, “We’re honored to partner with Operation Shower in celebrating these incredible military moms-to-be and thanking them for their service. Whether they’re serving in uniform or providing strength and support on the home front, their sacrifices do not go unnoticed. We’re grateful for the chance to lift them up and bring a little joy through this special baby shower.”
