On February 26, we were snow grateful to celebrate 20 incredible military moms-to-be alongside the New Jersey Devils’ wives and girlfriends at our “Winter Wonderland” group baby shower in Newark, NJ, presented by the Devils Youth Foundation and Verizon! Hosted at the Prudential Center with News 12 Anchor/Reporter Kristie Reeter as our special guest host and emcee, this event was frosty-bright with a delicious catered lunch, inspiring speakers, fun shower games, exciting prizes, and happy memories that will never thaw.
As always, our favorite moment was seeing the moms unwrap Operation Shower’s signature “Shower-In-A-Box!” Each thoughtfully curated box was packed with ice-quisite essentials and gifts for both mom and baby, generously donated by the New Jersey Devils and other wonderful partners including Diaper Genie, Angelcare, Skip Hop, Quincy Mae, and Chicco.
Thanks to the New Jersey Devils, Devils Youth Foundation, Verizon, and the Devils’ wives and girlfriends, we had the wonderful opportunity to sprinkle a little extra winter magic on these incredible women, proving that community and kindness can melt even the chilliest winter day!
