Come one, Come all, to the County Fair!
There was no shortage of fun and games at our County Fair which was held in the Birdies for the Brave Patriots’ Outpost on Sunday, March 10th. We honored and spoiled 36 military moms-to-be while celebrating our 9th time to partner with THE PLAYERS Championship and Birdies for the Brave.
It was a day of sunshine, smiles and gifts! The moms also heard from high ranking military guests, enjoyed lunch, heard from an up-and-coming country artist and shared and swapped stories with other military moms-to-be.
Sponsoring and helping us celebrate the day were United Rentals with support from THE PLAYERS Championship, Chicco USA, Birdies for the Brave and the Jim and Tabitha Furyk Foundation. As an extra special treat, Tabitha Furyk, wife of PGA TOUR player Jim Furyk and co-founder of the Jim and Tabitha Furyk Foundation, was our honorary host guiding the families through Bingo and other fun games as well as gifting each mom with a lovely robe! So nice!
No shower is ever complete without “Showers In A Box” time. Moms, Dads and even babies oohed and aahed as they saw the awesome baby items throughout their box gifted by generous donors such as Chicco and THE PLAYERS Proud Partners Optum®, Morgan Stanley, and Grant Thornton. Its safe to say that EVERY mom took home a blue ribbon prize!
Of course we could never pull it off without the help of our volunteers and partners who made sure that each and every guest enjoyed the day and left knowing how much they are loved.
