Arr you ready to hear about the awesome pirate themed shower that we hosted with Milan Custom Homes and the PGA TOUR Wives Association? This super creative shower was inspired by designs from Hostess with the Mostess and brought to life by beautiful wooden decor by Ten23 Designs. The moms we hosted at the shower were from the Coast Guard, Army, and Air Force and we helped them prepare for 31 babies!
An Arr-some Event
We always make sure to have lots of fun for our moms and this shower was no different. Before the shower, our moms were able to create custom onesies for their little ones. Showers are also all about the gifts, so every mom who decorated a onesie was entered in for a chance to win a really fun activity seat!
Ms. Sheila Johnson was our captain for the day and she steered our military families on their grandest adventure yet! She was joined by Ms. Tracy West, who is the Tournament Director of the Valspar Championship and the Brand Marketing Manager for Valspar Paint, Ms. Sara Hackney. We also had the pleasure of being hosted by the PGA TOUR Wives.
No shower is ever complete without a few games and great prizes! Thanks to Pediped, Baby Tula, Kendra Scott, Wavhello, 4moms, and so many generous donors, we were able to gift our moms with some much needed items to welcome their babies home. A formerly showered mom, Michelle, paid it forward by gifting fellow military moms with LuLaRoe gift cards!
We Arr So Thankful
The sweetest part of the shower was the dessert table by Ten23 Designs. All of the pieces were designed especially for the shower and the pirate ship was perfect to carry all of the goodies! The Princess Baker, Anna Shea Chocolates, Sweetly Dipped, The Cake Zone, and Innisbrook made sure that our guests had all of the fuel they needed to set sail!
Thank you to Innisbrook Resort & Golf Hall for hosting our event and for Milan Custom Homes, the PGA TOUR Wives Association, Birdies for the Brave, and Valspar Championship for working together to shower our moms with so much love and appreciation! We’re also appreciative to Grant Hemond Associates for keeping the party boat rocking and to Boone Pro Events for providing the photo booth for everyone to enjoy.
