For the second year in a row, we were able to host a baby shower for military moms from New England with The Patriots Foundation and PepsiCo. While this year’s event was virtual it was no less awesome…or wicked awesome as the locals say!
Before the big day, 25 moms were treated to deliveries of party boxes from Oriental Trading and the New England Patriots, amazing boxes of PepsiCo product and their Showers in a Box. That was the just the beginning though, as you know we had so much more in store.
The event was kicked off by Anaridis Rodriguez of WBZ-TV (and her new baby!) as she welcomed the moms-to-be and our special guests Mr. Bob Kraft and Mr. Josh Kraft of the New England Patriots. We had planned for Mr. Kraft to present each mom with a $100 Visa gift card but ended up being surprised ourselves when he announced he was actually gifting moms a $200 Visa gift card! We love those kind of surprises!
Dan Luby greeted moms with words of gratitude from PepsiCo and continued to show what a wonderful partner they are year after year.
The “Carnival” themed shower featured more games and surprises and gifts from companies such as Hazen & Co, Noodle & Boo, Hiccapop and the grande finale – an Evenflo Gold Travel System. Thanks to all of the support, we know it made bringing baby home even more joyful in a year where it was so needed.
We had such a great day and are so honored to work with these two organizations who believe in and know the importance of thanking our military families. We look forward to many more celebrations to come!
