Our third shower of the year took place at the Killeen Civic & Conference Center in Killeen, Texas on April 7, 2016. The shower celebrated 40 military moms and their new (or soon to be new!) babies.
Our amazing sponsor, H-E-B, provided so much more than just their generous sponsorship. They also catered lunch (including lots of desserts) for the moms and their families, gifted each mom a $150 gift card and donated many of the new mom essentials included in each Shower in a Box.
The celebration really was cute as a button thanks to the graphic designs by Paper&Cake. The theme was perfectly reflected in all the adorable, handmade desserts provided by Anna Shea Chocolates, Creating Awesomenessity and Sweet U Off Your Feet.
Among the gifts we showered our wonderful military moms with were a 4moms Bounce-a-Roo, Diaper Genie and nursing pillow for each.
We had lots of help presenting these big giveaways from our volunteers, host and local KWTX anchor Taina Maya, and special guest Lori Stinson of the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce—who’s also a military mom!
H-E-B has been a truly wonderful sponsor and we can’t wait to work with them again!
