On February 2nd, we hosted our first shower of 2016 at the Waste Management Phoenix Open in Scottsdale, Arizona. With some help from Fox 10 news anchor Andrea Robinson and special guest Cindy McCain, we showed all our love and gratitude to 35 moms and moms to be from Luke Air Force Base and the Arizona National Guard.
The adorable, baby-blue and pink “Hello, Sweet Baby” theme was just perfect thanks to the lovely work and party goods from TomKat Studio and graphics from Kori Clark Design. Helping out with the details, Koyal Wholesale, Kate Aspen and Nashville Wraps donated more of the amazing party decor.
In keeping with the theme, our dessert vendors—Inspired Sugar and Anna Shea Chocolates—provided delicate cookies, cakes and candies. But those weren’t the only sweets we gifted to our military moms! My M&Ms pitched in with baby-blue and pink, customized Operation Shower M&Ms for each mom.
Our favorite part of every shower, of course, is the part where we shower the moms with lots of high quality baby and new mom essentials! In addition to their Showers in a Box, each mom and mom-to-be at the shower received a car seat donated by USAA, a 4moms Rockaroo and a diaper bag from Skip Hop.
There’s nothing like seeing the beautiful smiles on these amazing moms’ faces when they see all this love coming from people and companies from all over the country.
