Y’all! We had the best time at The Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. Because Operation Shower was one of the Jordan Spieth Family Foundation 2022 Grant Partners we were able to co-host a group baby shower for 30 local military moms-to-be. The expectant moms were active duty service members or the spouses or partners of deployed members of area military bases.
“Howdy Little One” was the theme for the event with adorable graphics created by Jenn at Hostess with the Mostess.
The special guests of honor, the military moms-to-be, were treated to a catered lunch, raffle prizes, and the highlight of the event, the distribution of Operation Shower’s signature “Showers In A Box”— gifts for mothers and babies that were generously donated by the Jordan Spieth Family Foundation and companies including Skip Hop, Abby and Finn, Bravo Sierra, Evenflo , Delta Children , Chicco, and Diaper Genie.
Operation Shower is all about sharing our favorite things, so Jordan, Annie and their 6 month old baby decided to personally gift each family a collection of their ‘favorite things’ as well. These items are ones that the Spieths have found helpful with their little one. A few of these items were a tote bag donated by Under Armour, their favorite new parent coffee from Cosecha Del Sur Coffee, baby pajamas from Kyte Baby, and a Texas-themed baby book.
“We are honored to partner with Operation Shower to express our immeasurable appreciation to these courageous military moms-to-be for their service and sacrifice on behalf of our country,” said Annie Spieth, who attended the shower and called BINGO along with her husband, Jordan and Sammy. “We are delighted to help spread joy, love and gratitude to these extraordinary women for everything they do at home or on the front lines to keep America safe and free.” Jordan and Annie Spieth’s mothers were also both in attendance, making the event a true family affair!

All of us at Operation Shower consider this first baby shower with the Jordan Spieth Family Foundation a Texas-size BIG success!
