Feb, 7, 2022 — How do you celebrate 10 amazing years with the WM Phoenix Open? By throwing a virtual baby shower for Arizona military moms-to-be, of course!
Along with the generosity of the event’s presenting sponsor, PRO EM National Event Services, 27 military moms from all over the state were honored, gushed upon and simply celebrated with their very own baby shower. Adding a little more sunshine to the day, Emmy Award-winning KTVK 3TV news anchor Olivia Fierro, served as the event’s special guest host.
PRO EM National Event Services Principal Brady Castro said, “We are happy to join with Operation Shower, the WM Phoenix Open and The Thunderbirds to show our appreciation to these courageous military moms-to-be through this virtual shower. Their service and sacrifice on behalf of our country deserve to be recognized, and we are delighted to do that in this innovative format.”
Moms heard from guest speakers, played games, and were showered with gifts, sent in advance of the shower – including Operation Shower’s signature Showers In A Box. Each mom received an array of unique, high-quality products and gift items for mothers and babies from companies including APS, Playtex Baby, Discover, Skip Hop and WM. In addition to Presenting Sponsor PRO EM, support for the shower was provided by the WM Phoenix Open Presented By Taylor Morrison; The Thunderbirds; and Birdies for the Brave. All done from the safety of their homes (via Zoom), it’s safe to say that the day was filled with a more than just a little ray of sunshine!
