Our May 4th shower, sponsored by THE PLAYERS Championship, turned out to be an unforgettable day of celebrating military families and all they do for us. We gave 40 moms and moms-to-be a baby shower complete with pretty decor, lots of gifts and a special surprise brought to us by the PGA TOUR….
Two days after the shower, at the military appreciation ceremony, we saw the heartwarming reunion of mom-to-be Erica Scott and her husband, who returned a few weeks early from his deployment! With their baby due in just two weeks, watching the couple reunite definitely brought the happiest of tears to our eyes.
What a wonderful way to celebrate a new member of the family, and how lucky we were to be a part of it! It definitely made for one of our most memorable military appreciation ceremonies. Check out a video provided by THE PLAYERS Championship here.
Erica may have been the only mom to get a surprise reunion with her husband, but we showered all 40 moms with baby essentials – not without the help of our sponsors, special guests, donors and volunteers.
