Last week we hosted our 13th shower of the year in San Diego with the support of one of our awesome sponsors, PepsiCo. The “To the Moon and Back” shower was PepsiCo’s second this fall, following the Happy Little Camper shower back in September.
We gave 40 military moms and their guests an out of this world baby shower complete with intergalactic decor and snacks, tons of new mommy essentials and of course lots of love!
San Diego to Outer Space
The San Diego venue was decorated to take our military families on a journey through the solar system, featuring graphic designs by the always impressive Tania Fischer Designs plus tables curated by 12 designers to match.
Tania’s amazing graphics were complemented by the seriously cute centerpieces on each of the custom designed tables to seat all the beautiful moms at the shower.
Delicious treats provided by Firefly Confections, Anna Shea Chocolates, Bella Bakery, A Twist of Cake and Hey There, Cupcake filled the stunning dessert table styled by Sweets Indeed (and the military moms and moms-to-be’s bellies!).
Each of the desserts was crafted to match the To the Moon and Back theme with stars, moons and spaceships that tasted as amazing as they looked.
Big smiles from military moms and their little ones
So many wonderful companies and individuals showed their love and appreciation to the military moms and moms-to-be at the PepsiCo shower with the amazing gifts they provided. As always, we were overwhelmed by the support of our donors, whose gifts put smiles as bright as the stars on the face of every military mom and mom-to-be in the room.
Another special addition to the shower that made our military moms smile? The DJ and amazing photo booth provided by Happen. Such a fun way to get a photo of every mom!
We also got to see some smiles from the adorable babies and kids who attended the shower with their moms. It doesn’t get much cuter than a military mom and her baby sharing a moment of sheer joy at one of our baby showers!
We are filled with gratitude for the sacrifices these amazing families make for us every day and are honored to have been able to provide them with a day to escape their earthly stresses and celebrate with us in outer space!
