Oh, Baby! did we have a great time celebrating 30 military moms to be with PepsiCo! The virtual shower was held just before Mother’s Day, and very appropriately on Military Spouse Appreciation Day. It was the perfect chance to welcome these moms to motherhood with a lot of love and admiration.
Year after year, the team from PepsiCo in Colorado shows their support of local military families via the showers we host together. This was our first virtual shower with this group and while we miss seeing them in person, you could still feel the love, sincere respect and gratitude for the moms we honored. As Shawn Early (PepsiCo) said “You’ve got a whole room here of folks that are here to support you and love you.”
The shower was hosted by Brie Groves of KOAA who has been our fabulous host several times over the years! Additionally, we were delighted to have Blaire Brush speak and share some of her experiences as both a military wife and mother with all of our moms. There is something so reassuring in hearing tips and advice from an experienced military spouse!
As a fun surprise, we had another very special mom-to-be join us for this shower! Rising country music star, Harper Grae, joined us with some sweet words for the moms and helped bring a little Nashville to Colorado!
Before the shower, each mom received her Shower in a Box and a party box with treats for the shower. During the shower we played games, got to know each other a little better, laughed and, of course, surprised the moms with more gifts! Gifts included a MAM Feed and Soothe Bottle Set, Hazen and Co. Knot Necklace, Evenflo baby carrier and a Kolcraft Cloud Plus stroller!
We can’t think of a better way to celebrate Mother’s Day than giving back to military moms and are grateful for PepsiCo’s support to help make it happen!
