2016 is already off to such a fun start for Operation Shower. Our February 16th, 2016 shower, sponsored by Carousel Designs, was a happy celebration for 40 military moms and moms to be from the Los Angeles area—our second shower of the year!
Sportscaster LeeAnn Tweeden—a military spouse herself—hosted the shower, and Hunter and Kandi Mahan attended to show their support as well. The Mahan Foundation even gifted a stack of children’s books and a glider to every mom at the shower!
Cali Rodi, a regular performer at our baby showers, serenaded the moms and their families at the fairytale shower.
It really did feel like a fairytale, thanks to the Once Upon a Shower theme. Tons of hard work and love went into the design of the event. Paper&Cake’s beautiful graphics were complemented by decor details including pretty pieces from Found Vintage Rentals, gorgeous floral arrangements from Love Anne Joy Designs and linens and chairs from Stephanie’s Linens.
Extra fun was added thanks to Happen and Wife of the Party, who provided lighting, an amazing DJ and a photo booth experience.
On top of the 4moms Rockaroos, Cosco car seats and gifts from the Mahan Foundation, each mom at the shower received a Shower in a Box–complete with gifts from Gerber Childrenswear, Bumkins, Baby Aspen and more—and and enjoyed lots of pretty and delicious desserts from some of our talented dessert table vendors.
