Last week we hosted a baby shower for 40 moms at The Barclays in New Jersey, and we’re so excited share the fun we had!
The “Over the Moon” themed shower was sponsored by Barclays with support from Birdies for the Brave. Our sponsors, volunteers and donors helped us shower 40 military moms and moms-to-be with the love and gratitude they deserve. This was Barclays’ fourth time sponsoring a shower and they continue to raise the bar and help give the moms an extraordinary experience!
Actress, producer and mother of three boys Melissa Joan Hart hosted the shower (her 4th Operation Shower!), helping to make it a fun-filled day for military moms to leave their stresses at home and celebrate their new babies together.
Another fun aspect to this shower was our Table Design event. Each table was lovingly designed by a talented designer. As always, the moms and moms-to-be enjoyed delicious (and adorable) snacks and each received a Shower in a Box filled with gifts representing the appreciation our donors have for these amazing women.
We are so grateful to have the opportunity to bring joy to military families across the country every day, and can’t thank the people who help us make it happen enough. Our “Over the Moon” shower was another day to add to our list of favorites!
