We gathered online for a virtual celebration in honor of 34 military moms based throughout Arizona. “Peek-a-Boo!”presented by Discover Financial Services was our First Halloween inspired baby shower. Moms were invited to join our zoom call in costume, and while we don’t want to pick favorites, the Pickle costume left a lasting impression. Maybe next time someone can dress as a bowl of ice-cream?
Prior to the shower, honorees received our signature “Shower in a Box” as well as an extra special treat box with cookies from Inspired Sugar. Additionally, moms received supplies to decorate a onesie for a chance to win a prize. Moms created some fantastic designs and in the end, they all were winners! By the end of the event, all moms learned that they would be receiving a necklace from Hazen & Co, a gift card for bath products from Noodle & Boo, a Chicco Lightway Stroller, and an Amazon Gift Card!
While the pandemic was very much still present at the time of this event, we were still able to honor military families through a joyous celebration thanks to our amazing friends at Discover. We’re beyond grateful for their continued support and commitment to serving military families through our programs. Thanks, Discover!!!
