We always love our PLAYERS Championship military showers but this one is even more special to the Operation Shower team! Our last shower prior to the COVID-19 shut down makes us smile and has us looking at shower pictures a little more often these days.
Our friends Jim and Tabitha with the Jim and Tabitha Furyk Foundation, Birdies for the Brave, Chicco and United Rentals once again showed local expecting military families what a good time a group baby shower can be. With everything from live entertainment by singer-songwriter Patrick Davis to shower games to moving words delivered by Mayport Naval Station Commander and Executive Officer, Patricia Tyler, our showered moms didn’t want the party to end!
Special thanks to all of our wonderful shower volunteers who made desserts, provided flowers and helped us make the day a success. We couldn’t (and wouldn’t) do it without you!
