In Spring 2016, Operation Shower played ball! With the help of Boston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia, his wife Kelli, and the Red Sox Foundation we showed our love and gratitude to more than 30 military moms from various branches in the New England area “Shine Bright Like a Diamond” at historic Fenway Park.
Our amazing friends Carousel Designs and Aramark helped to put on a major league day. The graphics by Tania Fischer Design played into our ballpark diamond theme and featured diamond cutouts and geometric shapes for the sparkling diamond ladies in the room. Even Wally was there to add a little shine to the day!
With the help of some incredible people we were able to hit one out of the park. Amazing Celebrations and Events assisted with event coordination and made sure we had the right starting lineup including Sassy Mouth Photography, Amazing Balloons, Boppers Events and Orchids N Blooms.
Thanks to Cosco, New Balance and Babyganics/The Made to Matter, all our moms felt like MVPs. From New Balance backpacks complete with blankets, onesies, shoes and more to Cosco’s huge grand slam of gifts (car seats, strollers, high chairs and play yards), our military families in attendance felt like they won the World Series.
