A Day to Remember
We didn’t have to travel far for this special delivery. Our first shower with the Kansas City Chiefs – Chiefs Women’s Organization, was in our own “backyard,” here in Missouri. For this exciting day, we joined the Chiefs Women’s Organization in honoring 22 military families at Arrowhead Stadium.
Upon arrival to the Pressbox Lounge, guests joined Kansas City Chiefs Mascot, KC Wolf, in decorating a onesie. Other fun activities included a photo booth and a raffle drawing to win a custom bedding set from Carousel Designs. Levy Restaurants catered a delicious meal for all who were in attendance.
Gifts, Gifts Galore!
After lunch, moms had a moment to relax while opening some more gifts! Volunteers delivered our signature Shower in a Box to each military family. To help personalize the shower experience for our sponsors, the Chiefs Women’s Organization gave moms a variety of hand-picked bedtime-themed goodies. Additionally, Kendra Scott sent our guests home with a lovely piece of jewelry, and 4moms added to the plethora of gifts with a 4moms Bounceroo!
But, there were more prizes to be won! Moms got to know their tablemates as they played some good old fashioned shower games. Games, of course, are not nearly as exciting without prizes, so all winners received an awesome bath bundle from Peg Perego.
Treats to Write Home About…
With so much to celebrate, Anna Shea Chocolates, Flourish Sweet Shop, and Cami’s Cake Co. made sure there were enough treats to go around. The sugar rush didn’t stop there, as CottonTale KC spun a delicious assortment of cotton candy just before our eyes!
The whole day was filled with love, laughter, and maybe even a few happy tears. We cannot wait to reunite with The Chiefs Women’s Organization again as we show our appreciation to all of the amazing military families in or around the Kansas City area!
