The Simms Mann Institute and The CuddleBright Experience™ join Operation Shower in hosting baby shower for 40 Los Angeles-area military moms-to-be.
Actress Holly Robinson Peete helps honor moms as emcee
LOS ANGELES, CA (May 10, 2017) – Marking its 89th military baby shower, Operation Shower helped to bring joy to 40 military moms-to-be this week. We teamed up with The Simms/Mann Institute and The CuddleBright Experience™ to present our moms with a group baby shower. All of the moms are spouses of active duty or deployed members of area military bases. The event took place at MountainGate Country Club in Los Angeles.
Serving Up The CuddleBright Experience™
With actress Holly Robinson Peete serving as the event’s guest host and emcee, The Spring Soiree included lunch, raffle prizes, and more! The presentation of The CuddleBright Experience™ to each of the moms was the highlight. It features a 140-page parenting book, a lovie, a board book titled “A Cuddle Before I Go,” and a keepsake heart. Also featured was Operation Shower’s signature “Shower In A Box” to each of the moms. We love to give these as much as moms love to receive them! They are full of high-quality products, generously donated by Petunia Pickle Bottom, Picaboo and others.
Beyond the items, the most treasured gift may have been the opportunity for the moms to connect with each other; to share camaraderie and celebrate this milestone with others in the same situation.

We were honored to have the Simms/Mann Institute team join us. They were on hand to meet our moms and get to know their situations a little better. The team distributed The CuddleBright Experience™ to each family.
