We were thrilled to partner with the Patriots Foundation and PepsiCo to pack and deliver (100) special “Welcome Baby” boxes to moms-to-be at Fort Devens Army Base on Wednesday, April 13. The moms are the spouses of active duty or deployed members of local military bases, and in some cases, are active duty themselves. A team of volunteers from the Patriots Foundation, PepsiCo and Operation Shower gathered at Gillette Stadium to pack the boxes and then load them into the PepsiCo truck to deliver them to Fort Devens.
Once there, the moms were greeted by some very special guests, including Patriots players David Andrews, Jalen Mills, Tre Nixon, Will Sherman and Patriots cheerleaders. Together with PepsiCo and the Patriots Foundation, volunteers helped unpack the truck and distribute the boxes to families.
This marks the fourth year that the Patriots, PepsiCo and Operation Shower have teamed up to show their support for military families. April is designated as the “Month of the Military Child,” providing an opportunity to recognize and thank the children of our service members and veterans and we are so honored to celebrate that with these amazing supporters!
