August 30, 2017. Foxborough, MA – We joined Presenting Sponsor Boudreaux’s Butt Paste and Supporting Sponsors, the Dell Technologies Championship and Birdies for the Brave to honor 35 expectant military families. Lakeview Pavillion set the scene for the day, while the Dell Technologies Championship was in full swing just down the road.
Small Moments created the out-of-this-world graphics for “Over the Moon” and Amazing Balloon Decor helped bring the design to life.
Out-of-this-world Guests
A handful of our past-showered moms, along with several volunteers from the YMCA helped to make the day a terrific celebration for all in attendance! In addition to our lovely moms and moms-to-be, we were thrilled to have Mommy Blogger, Audrey McClelland in attendance.
During the event, our host, Rosie Pope took questions from the moms during a live Q & A. Guests also had a chance to snag a picture in the Light and Magic photo booth. For the first time, we invited attendees to try their hand in a diaper changing race – This was a blast to watch, and our guests loved it!
Department of Veterans Affairs representative Michael Migliara spoke to the moms about the importance of military spouse support. Guests also heard from Carol Bishop, from Boudreaux’s Butt Paste, and United Through Reading Representative, Veronica Boblett.
Gifts Loved to the Moon & Back
In addition to the Shower in a Box, each mom received more than $300 in new baby gifts. Moms were excited to unwrap gifts from Rosie Pope, 4moms, Carousel Designs, and many more!
Over the Moon Desserts
Lakeview Pavillion catered lunch. An array of delicious treats from The Cake Bar, The Princess Baker, and Anna Shea Chocolates were available for the taking.
